Poster Session and Welcome Mixer, November 6:

This year, the conference will host a “PSM Poster Session and Social” event on Wednesday evening, November 6.

We are asking for volunteers to present posters to help create a unique evening. There are no specific rules, but the traditional poster format about your program(s) put into whatever format you might design can be considered. After the lively poster evening of casual inquirers, the posters will be displayed in the convention hallways throughout the conference. Bring your marketing pamphlets, too.

While there are no expectations of programs to be presented, we hope to see some new or novel programs, unique projects, or disciplines that have common interests. Other ideas include:

  • Show off your program highlights. Tell about handling internships, professional courses, spotlight your students and program portions that are working well. Program directors appreciate this kind of info. Teach and get feedback.
  • Relevant completed research or internship projects presented by faculty or student, perhaps an already-prepared poster.
  • Floor banner or poster-like display of your program. Bring it and share how you are marketing or highlighting your programs.

If you plan to bring a poster, please indicate this while registering and/or email manager@npsma.org.
